ESCL Design provides residential design and permit drawing services for homeowners, builders, and property owners in Barrie and surrounding areas. These order terms apply to consultations, design proposals, drawings, and project-related services requested through this website, email, phone, or other approved communication channels.

1. Service agreement

A project is considered requested when a client submits an inquiry, books a consultation, or approves a proposal or scope of work. Any services will be provided in accordance with the agreed scope, timeline, and fee estimate.

2. Pricing and estimates

All pricing is provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of quoting. Final fees may change if the project scope, site conditions, municipal requirements, or requested revisions expand beyond the original estimate.

3. Payment terms

Payment terms, deposits, or milestone billing will be clearly stated in the proposal or service agreement. Clients are responsible for paying invoices by the agreed due date. Outstanding balances may delay project progress until payment is received.

4. Changes and revisions

Requests for additional revisions, design changes, or extended project support beyond the agreed scope may be billed separately. ESCL Design will communicate any additional charges before work proceeds.

5. Cancellations and delays

If a client cancels a project after work has begun, any completed work, time spent, or third-party costs incurred may remain chargeable. Delays caused by incomplete client information, missed approvals, or site access issues may affect timing and project milestones.

6. Delivery and timelines

Project timelines depend on the complexity of the scope, the quality and completeness of client information, and municipal review requirements. ESCL Design will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines, but timelines are estimates unless specifically confirmed in writing.

7. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate site information, access to relevant documents, property details, and timely feedback. ESCL Design is not responsible for errors or delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by the client.

8. Refunds and returns

Because design and permitting services are custom and often begin with substantial preparation, refunds may be limited to amounts not yet earned or expenses not yet incurred, as applicable under the agreed terms. Any refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

9. Privacy and data handling

Personal information collected through inquiries, consultations, and project communication is handled in accordance with our privacy policy. By requesting services, clients consent to the collection and use of information needed to provide the requested design work.
